Makeup.
I first took an interest in makeup in my early teens, and I've loved buying and applying it ever since.

When I was younger, I used to look forward to the weekend so I could go into Boots and pick up something new to try, and when I first discovered the makeup community on YouTube I literally thought I'd found the coolest part of the whole internet.
Before long I was spending a portion of every day doing something makeup related, be that watching a tutorial, reading a review online, buying a new product or playing around with the makeup I already owned. What used to be an interest in strictly makeup has grown over the years to include skin care, fashion, and other little luxuries like candles and home decor. I spend a disproportionate amount of my wages on cosmetics, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
I'm now in my early twenties and have decided to build on my (amateur) makeup skills, by booking a place on a Makeup Artistry Course with Illamasqua. I've also, obviously, started this blog, and I'm so excited to finally be a part of the makeup community that I've loved for so long!
Everything else.
I’m also a huge animal lover, especially elephants and dogs.
Sadly, I don’t have the kind of lifestyle that allows me to have a dog right
now, (or an elephant) so I make sure to pop back to my parents’ house often and
visit our family Springer, Ripley. There may be a photo of her on here from
time to time.
I’ve been lucky enough to have lots of animal adventures in
my time, including spending the night ‘under water’ with dolphins after swimming
with them, cage diving with sharks, even petting a white tiger! Most of those
wonderful memories I owe to my experience of being a camper at Busch Gardens,
Florida, when I was young. It was a life changing experience, so it wouldn’t
feel right not to talk about it in my “about me” section. It was definitely one
of the reasons that Florida is such a special place to me. I’m never happier
than when I’m in the beautiful state of Florida, USA, and a lifelong goal of
mine is to live there for a while.
This leads me on to perhaps my biggest passion - anything
relating to the Walt Disney Company. I could easily have my own blog dedicated
just to Disney, who knows, maybe one day I will have. From the films, to the
concept art, to the detailed inner workings of the parks; I’m fascinated by all
of it. My family are pretty obsessed with hopping over to Orlando whenever time
and money will possibly allow, and we’re set for our next venture out there
this July!
The last big thing that I should probably mention is my
partner in crime, Sam. We live together in our little one bedroom flat, that we’ve
made a home, and I’m very lucky to have such a kind, supportive influence in my
life. He’ll probably crop up a few times in my posts here and there.
